The Brashear Lady Tigers kicked off their softball season at the South Shelby Jamboree August 18, 2023. Brashear faced South Shelby in the first game and came out on the losing end by a score of 3-1. Maddie Moots had Brashear's lone hit. Moots also pitched and struck out 7 in the 4-inning contest.
